Qlife Practice Standards Coordinator

Reporting to the Program Coordination and Capacity Building Manager, and working closely with the QLife partners, this position is responsible for ensuring that the QLife service is underpinned by sound therapeutic policy and practice, in line with the goals and values of the service, it’s partners and communities, as well as National funding requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in counselling, psychology or a related discipline within the behavioural or social sciences, with relevant registration and eligibility for professional association membership
  • Experience in a leadership role within a therapeutic environment
  • Experience and commitment to the principles and practice of (counselling) supervision
  • Demonstrated understanding of the issues and public policy that impacts the mental health and wellbeing of people of diverse sexualities, sexes and/or genders
  • Experience working in therapeutic relationship with groups from marginalised backgrounds and including complex needs
  • Experience working within a Government funded and/or community based mental health service
  • Demonstrated skill and experience in developing and writing therapeutic policy and procedural content
  • Experience or demonstrated understanding of the complexities of providing mental health services via web and phone
  • Demonstrated skill and experience in developing and delivering training
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically for short periods

SCHADS 5 $78,938.08 – $82,460.56 per annum plus salary packaging

Programs Coordination and Capacity Building Manager

About the Role

Reporting to the Director Programs and Development and working closely with the Training and Education Coordinator the Programs Coordination and Capacity Building Manager is responsible for developing and managing the Alliance’s LGBTI health and wellbeing programs including, but not limited to, mental health and suicide prevention initiatives and ageing and aged care. The role is also responsible for the development of programs across the spectrum of LGBTI health and wellbeing.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications with relevant experience in relation to mental health and wellbeing, education, social science or other relevant fields.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Good knowledge of LGBTI mental health and suicide prevention research, best practice and related sectors.
  • Highly developed time management skills and ability to work with competing demands

SCHADS 6  $86,939.80 – $90,754.46 (Salary) plus salary packaging. Fixed term contract until 2021.

Data and Reporting Officer

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations and Compliance Manager and working closely with the QLife National Team, this position is responsible for managing the QLife data, analyses and reporting, maintaining the QLife database and assisting with content for the QLife website.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience
  • Min. 3 years’ experience in data management, including extraction, cleansing and analyses
  • Advanced skills in navigating and using Google analytics and other system tools (e.g. Telstra Analyser Online)
  • CRM database management and reporting experience (iCarol experience highly regarded)
  • Significant experience using data insights to support and enhance service delivery
  • Proficient IT skills including working in a Microsoft Office 365 environment, specifically Outlook, Word, Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot tables
  • Ability to respond to a data analysis brief and present results in a meaningful way
  • Extremely high attention to detail
  • Good organisational & communication skills
  • Understanding and commitment of LGBTI communities and the social determinants that impact on health & mental health

SCHADS 4  $67,383.68 – $72,603.96 (Salary) plus salary packaging. Fixed term contract until 2021 (possible extension subject to funding).

Operations and Compliance Manager

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with the Board of Governance the Operations and Compliance Manager is responsible for leading the Alliance’s HR, finance, IT, membership, communications, legal / risk & compliance functions. Supporting the needs of the Alliance in a sustainable way, the key focus is continuous improvement by ensuring systems and processes are in place to support the coordinated and efficient management of the internal workings of the Alliance as well as legal and regulatory compliance

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications with relevant experience in relation to business administration or other relevant fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience as a Corporate Services Manager, Administration Manager, Financial Manager, HR Manager or Coordinator Role; ideally within the not-for-profit sector (NFP).
  • Demonstrated experience in general organisational management, risk management / compliance, procurement and financial management
  • The ability to successfully lead projects and manage effective, collaborative change
  • Highly developed time management skills and ability to work with competing demands
